The Way of Nacor book 1 in Tales of Eden series by Jeff Horton is a very well written book with a very strong Christian influence. Readers should not be turned off from reading The Way of Nacor upon hearing this. The Christian influence in this book revolves around main characters Rachel,Michael, Jessie, and Eli, the Seekers children, and Varuth Terakon, Professor Harmana Veptor, beings from a planet called Zantura, as they struggles through trials dealing with 'the Seven Deadly Sins'. Read this story to my kids. We all enjoyed it. Very Narnia like!

I found this novel to be very Narnia-esque with a scifi, as opposed to fantasy feel. You could definitely see the influence of C.S. Lewis on this book. I really enjoyed enjoyed getting to know the children as they embarked on this adventure. It was very apparent while reading this book that there it had a very strong Christian influence. I would imagine that for some this would be a huge positive for some readers. I could also see it as a not so positive thing for some other readers, so please
