Il sesto volume ci permette di saperne di più sul passato di Chrono e sul suo rapporto non solo con Aion e gli altri peccatori, ma soprattutto con Maddalena, la santa veggente venerata dall'omonimo ordine (un rapporto che, a tratti, ricorda quello costruito con Rosette e che ha ferito nel profondo Chrono). Di fatto ci troviamo alla vigilia della battaglia finale e finalmente i nostri protagonisti si ritroveranno faccia a faccia con il nemico.
Menzione speciale per per padre Ewan Remington, personaggio secondario di grande spessore e profondità, da sempre dalla parte di Rosette e Chrono, insieme a quella santa di sorella Kate e al vecchiaccio pervertito esperto di armi. Speriamo che ne escano tutti vivi, ma ne dubito...

I loved that we got to see Chrono's past. Actually, I just loved it in general.

Love the back story of chrono and MagdaleneAnd father Remington is cool

I still can't get over the fact that Chrono is like super old, and whenever he uses his powers he can go from a 12 or 13 year old to an adult.He has a pretty intense past, and I can tell why he wants to protect Rosette so much so he doesn't let the same thing happen twice.It was really cute when Rosette both walked over to Chrono in their mind, and in real life, and then she kind of smushed his cheeks. :)Also the part when Rosette fell backwards, (in their mind) and was falling in real life too,

Krásná kresba, která si po celou dobu držela svoji kvalitu. Bylo dost překvapující, že hezky vypadala již od začátku, což se moc nevidí. A líbilo se mi, že z démonů udělala oškliváky, ale asi ani neměla jinou možnost, protože kdyby byli hezcí, tak by je nemohla zabíjet, kdy se jí zachce. Což se i potvrzuje tím, že hlavní démoni vypadali hezky. Příběh mě moc nebavil, protože jsem se nemohla nějak vžít s postavami. Dokonce ani hlavní hrdinové mě moc nezaujali, ale je faktem, že mě ze všech

I've been enjoying the Chrono Crusade series on the whole so far. Some parts are better than others, but the series itself is strong and entertaining. In a succession of circumstances best left as a tale for another day, I had enormous trouble getting my hands on a copy of Volume Six. I managed to snag all the others, including Seven and Eight, just fine, but I couldn't read those two without having read Six. So, I jumped through all the hoops life kept holding in front of me and I finally have

An entire volume dedicated to Chrono's past! So sweet, so sad, so good. We see how Chrono lost his horns, we see why the series has 'Mary Magdalene' as part of the title (look in the second C), we see where the watch came from. And now we're off to fight the final battle~!This series has 8 volumes.
