You know there's something wrong with the author when the GOOD GUYS and the BAD GUYS have their own booksI know, as a reader, that we have to see things from both side of the "war" but I can't help disliking a author who tries to make us sympathize with EVERY SINGLE BAD GUY there is in her damn book. I want to know who to dislike and I don't give a damn about their happy ending!!!I don't like Stryker and that b***h wife of his. They all need to be kill off somewhere and take Nick with them.AndA scary twist at the end that may mean the Daimons get the upper hand on Dark Hunters.Stryker and Zephyra.......Stryker is a villain... this story made him no worse or better in my opinion, he still killed his son whether he regrets it or not, over something stupid... In my opinion... Hes forever on a mission against Acheron and risks everything he has for a daughter he has known all of 5 minutes, but wouldn't give his son the benefit of the doubt.... Zephyra is no better if she could love
First of all I MUST comment about the number of pages this book has. 166 magic number. Cmon Stryker should get more than that! Make it a short story then if youre out of ideas. What should I call this? Medium story? Sounds like crap. I dont like medium stuff. I either like it huge, long or short. And for all you pervs out there STFU!! I have to tell you from now that I wont be giving this a good score. I am so damn disappointed in Stryker because I was expecting his story to be more wild,
Really 3.5 stars - I was really anticipating this book, since I just finished Acheron not long ago. However, I was kind of disappointed.I didn't expect to like Stryker, but I did come around as I read on. I suppose he really does have a heart. It is hard to have sympathy for Ash and Dark-Hunters' enemy. His ex-wife, Zephyra, shows up here. She is a mean, hateful, shrew, and I just couldn't like her. They were married eleven thousand years ago when they were children of 14. I was a little
Strykerius or Stryker (Spathi Daimon) and Zephyra or Phyra (Daimon with extra demon abilities)Who are you, Stykerius?Im a lost soul, he breathed quietly. I had a purpose at one time, but I stumbled on the path of it.And now?Right, so this is the story of Stryker and Phyra. Styker had not been really likable or friendly in the series so far. He is one of Acherons worst enemies. In this book, he tries to kill Acheron and Nick Gautier in order to avenge his dead sister. Thus, he orders War after
How is it that Kenyon actually had me cheering for the bad guy, Strykerius, and hoping he would find love, when I have hated that man since book #1 of this series. I wasn't even thinking I would like this book, let alone not be able to put it down. Very good story and there is a series change about to take place in the world of the Daimons. This is a must read for all Dark Hunter fans.Stryker unleashes an evil being and sends him to destroy Ash and Nick. That being then turns on Stryker causing
Stryker wanted revenge against Acheron & Nick for the death of his son so he releases Aries, the god of war and bargains for Aries to kill Ach & Nick.To thwart Stryker, Artemis enlists the Zephyra, Stryker's ex-wife to stop Stryker's plan. So now the ex lovers are on a collision course to fight it out, along with their personal issues. This series is iffy for me but this book was one of the good ones. I didn't enjoy Acheron as much as others, but this one was enjoyable. We get to see how
